Beauty - Nails: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Mauve Along

So, Barry M is the ruling Nail Brand at the minute and they have some truly amazing, easy to apply nail polish. But today's post is actually about the Sally Hansen brand. This is also a really good brand! They are so easy to apply it is unbelievable. The brush is quite big so it covers a lot more of the nail at once although if you are not used to it is may seem a little too big!

The pots/bottles are a lot bigger than the Barry M ones so you have lots and lots of polish to last you a lifetime. The idea of the complete Salon Manicure is that the bottle contains your

  • Base Coat
  • Strengthener
  • Growth Treatment
  • Colour
  • Top Coat
Therefore you do not need to use any of these products. Which I (Amie) guess could mean you save some money. However the Sally Hansen Nail Polishes are more expensive than your brands like Barry M as they are £6.99 a bottle rather than half the price £3.99 for the Barry M range.

Colour wise the selection for the Salon Range is pretty good with Reds and Browns and then your nudes at the other end of the spectrum. Mauve Along is the only nude Shade I have and I can't say I'm going to get anymore as they are a bit too expensive for the Student Budget. Although Mauve Along is a great colour. It is a nude and very subtle so its great for everyday wear! If I could buy another colour I would go for the shade Berry Important as I am more of a vibrant nail kind of colour however my sister always uses this colour. It is one of those colours that only suits certain skin tones/people therefore take that into note before you buy it! Do you prefer the nudes or vibrants?
