Halloween is extremely close so to get into the Halloween spirit I (Beth) thought I would do a Halloween nail tutorial! If you'd like to see more nail tutorials let me know in the comments!
1- First off all then I applied a primer just as a clear base so my nail polish doesn't stain my nails when I take it off.
2- I then went onto paint my nails with two coats of my Orange Nail Polish which to be honest I could have managed with just one coat but oh well.
3- When the orange had dried I dipped a thin nail art brush into the black nail polish and placed the the tip of the brush onto the tip of my nail and slowly rotated my finger. When I felt the need to I just added a bit more black to make it more opaque.
4- I then went onto the thumb and with a dotting tool put three large dots on the top left and top right. Then joined and filled them in to create a triangle shape.
5- Then for the zig zag mouth and I dipped my thin nail art brush into the black yet again and just kept placing the tip of the brush on the edge of my nail art kept twisting it for a zig zag mouth.
6- Next I moved onto the ring finger and put two large dots at the top for two black eyes.
7-I then very simply for the mouth drew a think line with the nail art brush again!
8- After this I decided to outline the bottom of my nail with the black making the top and bottom of the nail symmetrical.
9- Finally when all this had dried I applied a top coat to allow the design to last longer and also have that bit more shine.
