Follow Amie - Local Heritage Centre

Now, this is our first ever Follow Us post!!! Woah! Alice did plan to do one of these however hers is a video therefore she is editing it and everything so it may be a while until that one is up! Anyway on my (Amie) Follow Me which is actually when I went for a walk/day out to my local Heritage Centre and Park. It took about 20 minutes to get here and it was well worth the journey!

We first when to get a cup of tea (yes typical English) and I had a brownie. The first picture is actually what my Mum had and it looked delicious so I thought I would share it with you as well. Although it wasn't exactly sunny it was nice to sit outside and have a nice warm drink and a gorgeous treat too!  In the Heritage Centre there was an old-fashioned sweet shop with all jars lined up. It looked amazing so I thought I would show you what it looked like and make your mouths water at the sight of the yummy sweets :) In the end I got some Tango BonBons and some Strawberry Jellies. They were so gorgeous.

The rest of the pictures are just from when we walked around the park and the rest of the centre. Don't you think that Music Stand just looks magnificent? I have fond memories of when I was a kid in the park, going in the sandpit in the summer, going for adventures in the trees and playing mini-golf. Losing might I just add. This park is a very special place to me and I just wanted to show you how beautiful it is.

Sorry, this isn't a very writey post but I thought you would just like to enjoy the pictures. Comment your fondest Childhood memories!
