February started off for me with not a great deal to look forward to to be honest as the only thing fully arranged was my Dancing competition and even that I was quite nervous for because obviously I'm quite nervous and scared of not doing well or jot quite my best. As the month progressed however I ended up doing quite a few fun things!
To start the whole month off I went shopping and only bought two things which have been put away for my birthday :( and one of those things is a watch. Quite an expensive watch as well which I will probably show when I get it on my birthday on the 12th March. Don't you hate it when you buy something that you can't wait to wear/use but then you have to wait ages. I know I do. This month I also started rehearsals for a show called Fiddler on the Roof (please don't be rude with the title) I've already heard jokes about it. Anyways that's quite exciting as I'll be in the show at the beginning/middle of March.
Onto something dancing and school related which I never thought I would be saying in the same sentence! I actually ended up doing a few dances in our schools first dance showcase. First of all we had a rehearsal and I was actually more nervous for that, than the actual show. The fact of dancing In front of people I know seems so much more nerve wracking than in front of adults. Anyways long story short I felt quite proud of myself in the end as I never thought I'd dance at school especially doing a solo! Onto a more school related thing and that is the fact Big Cook ended up teaching our class for the full lesson. Can't even explain the excitement I had, I'm talking hands sweating, feet tapping and constant smiling. Quick note on books and I finished Girl Online and can't wait until book 2 comes out and so I started Before I Fall which after the first two chapters thought would be boring but it just ended up getting better and better- check it out now. And so recently I have started Geek Girl 2!
Now this is a bit random but shopping I came across Pink Magnums which I had every day on holiday last year and when I saw them finally in Tescos I literally ran over to them and picked up a few boxes. They're seriously so good!
February means a week off school and I ended up having quite a good week starting off with seeing Into The Woods with my fellow friends Alice and Amie. I thought it was really good but it does go on quite a bit my legs were about to seize up! Then came the dancing Competition over 4 days which went really well and I am actually so unbelievably pleased with some of the marks I got. Definitely the highest I've ever got! A day was also spent at Amies house which was very nice as I hadn't seen them in about a week.
Then back to the normality of school-yay! Counting down until the next half term holidays!
Hope you've had a great month and I've learnt this month to try something even if you're scared or nervous about it! Have a great March!
