What you Need:
- Brushes (obviously but hey ho)
- Small Towel
- Shampoo - any shampoo is fine as this does not affect the results.
- Water (tap)
- Small Bowl
Method:
- Firstly grab your brush and just rinse it under the water. This removes any excess make-up which is just sat on the top of the brush and has not yet soaked into the bristles. However, make sure you do not wet the area where the brush connects to the plastic as the glue here can weaken overtime and you will have to get a new brush.
- Next squirt a medium sized amount of shampoo into a small bowl and add water. You do not need a lot of shampoo nor a large bowl.
- Now gently swirl your brush into the bowl. You should try using a circular motion on the back of your hand to give it a nice lather. Also you could try squeezing the brush as this can help remove the dirty, make-up and water from the brush.
- Finally place the brush on the towel and leave it flat so the air can dry the brush properly.
You should take into consideration the time it takes for the brushes to dry, so if you are likely to need the brushes straight after, it is important that you pick your time wisely. Also one last thing to take into consideration is that a white tool may not be the best ideas, if you know what I mean ;)
