It's Beth with a make up review for what feels like the first time in forever and it's on a primer. This is probably going to be a short one as I suppose there isn't much to say about a primer but I suppose I'll say as much as I possibly can and I apologise of this ends up a bit rambly.
To start off with I've never used a primer before this, I've never really thought about it to be honest but then I got this in a goodie bag at Birmingham Clothes Show and have used it quite a lot since then. Due to this I can't compare this to anything but I'll try my best to describe what it's like.
It does claim to do quite a lot on the packaging and I can say it seems to smooth my face before I put my foundation on meaning my face is nice and smooth for when i put my foundation on (duh). And by saying this I suppose it resurfaces my face as well. I can however say that I don't see that it mattifies my skin for more brightens it. I don't really see how it can do both when brightening and mattifying and opposite things. As for protecting I don't really know how to judge that.
The real con I think with this product is that it does seem quite oily on the skin even when I apply just a tiny amount. Saying that I don't have anything to compare it to. Do all primers make your skin feel quite oily?
Onto the real pros and that is that this product does definitely make my foundation last all day with no patchiness. As I was doin gap dance competitions all day when I got home I still had my foundation on my face nice and neatly with no patchiness.
Overall then this is a decent product and I will probably repurchase it, or try out a new one to compare it to. Any suggestions leave in the comments.
