Tag: The British Tag (Amie + Beth)

We felt like doing a tag today because it came to our attention that we have not done a tag on this blog although we did do a few on the blog we had before this one. Seen as we are British what better way to start our tagging than to do the British Tag!

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? + How many sugars?
Amie: I have approximately 2-3 cups of tea a day and Now sugars. Usually I have one cup in a morning and one after I get home from school.
Beth: Zero. Im more of a hot chocolate type of person. On the very rare occasion of me having a cup of tea I would have 2 sugars.

2. Favourite Part of your Roast?
Amie: This is actually a hard question because I love most parts but...... I would probably say mash potatoes - that is always the first thing I go for when I eat a roast.
Beth: Again this is a very hard question but its definitely between the mashed potatoes and roast potatoes. I just cant decide which one is better.

3. Favourite dunking Biscuit?
Amie: When thinking about this post I had a little reminisce over the biscuits I had when I was little. I used to have the Fox's Cow and the Sports Biscuits. If you know what they are then you will know what I mean by this but me and my sister used to compare the cow we had.
Beth: Like I said I don't have cups of tea that often at all but when i do i would probably have a chocolate digestive!

4. Favourite quintessentially british pastime?
Amie: I feel like a lot of the stereotype pastimes which we associate with being British are slowly dying out - I mean playing sports like crochet isn't around anymore (that I know of), Therefore I think my best bet is reading and I realize people don't have to be British to read but I really can't think of anything else that is particularly British.
Beth: I suppose reading has to be mine as well. The only other pastime I have is dancing and I wouldn't say that's quintessentially British.

5. Favourite word?
Amie: I'm a person who normally makes up words. I think the others would agree too. Or I add things onto words - although gee wizz is a word I say gee wizzell. To be honest the words just come out at random! I don't even know what they mean!
Beth: Fetish. It all starting with TFIOS.

6. Favourite Sweet?
Amie: I used to like Mentos but I kinda went off those a bit. I have just remembered Chuppa Lollies - I may have spelt that wrong but the Strawberry and cream ones are amazing! :)
Beth: This is such a hard question! I like so many sweets, I've got a very sweet tooth. I do love my refreshers, and blue bon bons, and tanga sticks, and skittles. Basically I can't choose, that question is just way too hard for me to answer.

7. What would your Pub be called?
Amie: I think I watched Carrie Fletchers video of this tag and she mentioned that there is actually a list which you have to pick a name from. But anyway I would go with The Red Lion or The Cottage of Content!
Beth: I think I've definitely thought about this before and I think I'd go for something like The White Swan.

8. No.1 British Person?
Amie: I would obviously have to mention the Queen, Kate and William - these are my favourites in the royal family. But otherwise it would be all the British actors and actresses from Harry Potter! Especially Emma Watson, or Bonnie Wright (Ginny is my Fave :) ) or even Evanna Lynch.
Beth: I don't know why but straight away I just think of Emma Watson, not sure if she's my No.1 British person, but she just pops into my head straight away!

9. Favourite Shop/Restaurant?
Amie: I like shops like New Look and Primark, also Boots. Restraunt wise I lovvve TGI Friday's and Frankie & Benny's.
Beth: Shop is between Miss Selfridge and Topshop. In terms of restaurant I love and always will love Bella Italia. Always have calamari for starters it's turned into a tradition.

10. What British songs pops into your head?
Amie: The National Anthem I guess :)
Beth: Again the National Anthem.

11. Marmite
Amie: Noooooooooo!! Ewh.....
Beth: Never tried, never will. Bleurgh!
